Circa 1950s Nathan Strong Basque Bodice Evening Dress
Such a feminine dress! The skirt is a flowing rayon chiffon over a black rayon under-skirt. The crepe off-shoulder basque bodice is just lovely, with its pink satin and black lace drape collar. The Nathan-Strong label was a joint venture by designer Robert Strong and Morris Nathan. They designed high quality cocktail and formal dresses. This dress is small in size, probably a modern size 00-0. Measurements are approximate: Bust - 32", Waist - 24" and Hips are free due to the volume. The length of this dress from shoulder to hem is 54". Excellent condition.
