Singer SK160 Mid-Gauge Knitting Machine
Manual mid-gauge 6.5mm metal machine. If you've been using an all plastic LK-150, this is a step up. It can do lots of patterns depending on how you manipulate the needles. The carriage can be set to slip to do fair isle and slip stitching, you can put needles on hold, etc. Can also weave, plait, and punch lace and many more. If you can find the all-elusive SK-860 carriage, it will convert this manual machine to electronic, with additional accessories. Will knit a large variety of hands-knitting yarns.
This particular machine has had some cleaning and has a new sponge bar. I lubricated the carriage and fixed where it was sticking, and tested it (see samples) Please note - the yarn tension mast is the skinny kind and you should wrap it with a bit of masking tape to anchor it in the hole. It's hard to find a thicker mast nowadays, but I just put a piece of thin cotton fabric around the bottom of the mast to test, and it worked great!
I included all the original accessories, except for the tuck brushes I've priced it well to compensate for that and the tension mast. You can still tuck without the brushes - I did with my samples.
I CANNOT SHIP THIS MACHINE FREE BUT WILL CHARGE ONLY THE ACTUAL PRICE OF SHIPPING.
